Model Application & Requirements Information

Hello Potential Model  – If you are a first-time Day of Caring model candidate and are serious about participating as one of our 2019 Models of Hope, and we hope you are, we will need the attached APPLICATION and RELEASE forms completed and emailed back to us no later than Nov. 17th as potentially our first meeting is December 8 (but may be rescheduled to January 12), and we need to confirm all our participants prior to that first meeting date. It might seem like a long way off, but the time goes quickly and we are already in planning stages. Participation is on a first come, first served basis and we plan for only a total of 16 models (15 ladies and 1 male). Once we receive your completed forms we can add you to the Models roster.  If you could send the Bio worksheet asap that would be appreciated so I can begin preparing the bios that we will practice walking to when we rehearse at out meetings.

REMEMBER – if you’ve modeled in a Day of Caring Fashion Show in the past we will be unable to consider you for participation this year.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Double Tree Hotel Miami Airport & Convention Center at 711 NW 72nd Ave., Miami, FL 33126. Ph: 866-238-4218

IF YOU DECIDE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE FOR ANY REASON, we will certainly understand, but would appreciate if you could just send us a quick email letting us know, so we can move on and look for other model candidates. If you know of any survivors who have never modeled in our event, please forward them the forms and my information and let them get in touch with me right away so we can add them to our roster.

Model Forms

Attached are the following forms – PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY – and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us. ALL REMAINING FORMS WILL BE DUE NO LATER THAN THE JANUARY MEETING.

We look forward to hearing from you. Keep in mind that we recruit 20-25 models at the outset so we have stand-bys in case any of our models need to drop out along the way. It has happened often in the past and we understand life happens and sometimes you have no control over that.

If you would rather participate in 2020, please let us know and we will add your name to that list. Many ladies often are not ready and prefer to wait a year.

All the best,
Maureen Flanagan & Eileen Lopez Tomé
